Thurra Design is a small, intentional design studio helping child care centers and service-based businesses present themselves with Integrity, clarity, care, and professionalism.
I started this studio with one goal — to give small businesses the kind of design support that’s often out of reach. My focus is on helping child care centers and early educators create materials that reflect their values, build trust with families, and support long-term growth — including resources that align with Georgia’s Quality Rated system.

Most people start a business — especially in child care — by jumping straight into the work that matters: caring for children, supporting families, and running the day-to-day. Branding and design often come later, if at all. It’s not that they don’t care — it’s just one more thing, and it often feels expensive or out of reach.
I started Thurra Design to meet that gap with intention — to offer design that’s thoughtful, approachable, and built to support the mission you already live out every day.
My role is to listen, understand what matters most to you, and create materials that help you communicate clearly and confidently — without the overwhelm.
For centers working toward a higher Quality Rated level, I support that effort by designing clear, professional materials — from family handbooks and signage to enrollment packets and websites — that reflect your program’s strengths and readiness.

Meet the Designer
I’m Miguel — founder of Thurra Design, husband of 12 years to a wonderful wife, and dad to four amazing kids. I’m originally from Australia and have been a stay-at-home parent since 2020, homeschooling three of our children and learning firsthand how to build with intention, adapt in the moment, and stay present in what matters most.
My faith is central to how I live and work — it shapes the way I care for people, approach challenges, and serve clients with honesty, patience, and purpose.
This studio began from a simple desire: to help. I’ve always loved people, and design became a way to support the ones building something meaningful — especially child care centers and small businesses rooted in service.
Thurra Design is quiet, intentional, and grounded in people-first values. Every project is shaped by listening, learning, and crafting design that reflects who you are and why your work matters.
